If you don't know Tommy Tuberville, he was the head football coach at Auburn University from 1999 to 2008.
He was also the head football coach at the University of Mississippi from 1995 to 1998, Texas Tech University from 2010 to 2012, and the University of Cincinnati from 2013 to 2016. And now he's a senator in Alabama.
His football career aside, Tommy may be even more successful in the stock market since becoming a politician.
While he's been a great investor, his most recent trades exemplify this perfectly.

Senator Tommy Tuberville just disclosed three separate purchases of stock in a company called Humacyte, $HUMA. These purchases were made on July 25th, right before a recent massive announcement.
If you haven't heard of Humacyte, they are a small biotech company that makes implantable human tissue.
And guess what just happened? Humacyte announced this week that their tech was successful in treating injuries from combat in Ukraine.
The stock immediately popped on this announcement and could have scored Mr. Tubervile up to an 80% gain based on the timing.
While this is highly suspect in isolation, it gets even worse when we realize that Mr. Tuberville sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Pair that with the fact that he's never traded this stock before, or any micro-cap of this size, and it's hard to imagine how he didn't have any inside information.
