Nvidia Steals the CES Spotlight with a $50 Trillion Flex

Jensen Huang didn’t just show up to CES on Monday night… he showed up hungry. Nvidia’s CEO dropped a buffet of announcements that made every other tech exec in Vegas look like they were pitching toaster upgrades. Huang says expanding AI into the physical world will disrupt $50 trillion worth of industries, from cars to robots to whatever sci-fi fever dream comes next.

The headliner? Nvidia Cosmos. A new platform that trains robots and autonomous vehicles without ever leaving the virtual realm. Cosmos generates video from text prompts, letting AI systems practice fake but fake-but-realistic scenarios. Need your self-driving car to master the fine art of not crashing into ambulances? Cosmos can do it on repeat without wrecking a single bumper.

Speaking of cars, Nvidia’s also buddying up with Uber. The rideshare giant’s endless stream of trip data will fuel Nvidia’s self-driving ambitions. Meanwhile, Huang is whispering sweet nothings to mass-market automakers, pushing them toward unified vehicle operating systems. And, just to show off, Nvidia has already gotten its hardware certified by regulators.

Not content with cloud domination, Nvidia unveiled Project Digits, a $3,000 AI developer’s dream machine. Powered by the Grace Blackwell Superchip (a cool girl chip, apparently) this desktop runs Linux and can handle AI models so massive they’d turn your MacBook into a coaster.

In short, Huang rolled into CES, waved a $50 trillion check, and announced Nvidia’s plan to run everything: your car, your robot vacuum, and maybe even your life. While everyone else was showing off slightly better TVs, Nvidia staked its claim as the overlord of the AI revolution.
